What does The GunLife Coach offer?
Stemming from over 25years in the defensive training industry, The GunLife Coach provides crucial, in context, personalized coaching, defensive training courses, business & industry range consulting and promotional events locally and nationwide.
The GunLife Coach also has a host of instructors from all walks of the industry with the expertise necessary to disseminate the right intellect and attitude to help you succeed. Also, providing real world training for DOD/SOCOM & LE agencies and to thousands of armed citizens over the years.
I offer a wide range of clinics and courses that range from the most novice shooter to the advanced operator using my experience in course creation, I can build a course tailored to your next event.
Does you offer Remote Training?
Yes, I host training and events from various nationally recognized organizations to bring the best of what the shooting industry has to offer. I also travel remotely to offer custom training events for your group or facility nationwide. Connect with me to discuss further! I'd love to train you and your group for your next event!
Do you offer discounts?Yes, group rates, military & first responder discounts are available.
What is the age requirements for your courses?
Minimum of 18 years and younger can NOT fire a handgun without being accompanied by an adult. 19 years or older can shoot any firearm within reason. A parent or guardian must sign for a minor.
Can I bring my Kid to the Range?
Well, that depends! if the child or children are going to be a distraction from training then the answer would be no. However, if you would like for your child to watch you in training and expose them with familiarization to the range, We can discuss that and set up for success with expectations and guidelines. Prerequisites
Yes & No. Prior to any live training, I will meet or contact all students to better assess your shooting comprehension and previous experience. If you're considering an intermediate to advanced course, feel free to connect with me so we can decide which course is right for you.
Do bring my own firearms to training? Can I rent one?
I'd love for you to have your own firearm for the course, however, if you just don’t have one, I'd be happy to offer one during our time together on the range. If you're bringing your own make sure it is made from a very reliable manufacturer; I build shooters here so, be ready to shoot! We want you to evolve your skills without interruption of the course! Basically, I want it to go bang and not Click!!
How much ammunition am I going to need for class?
Ammunition needs are dependent on each class. Typically, you can expect to shoot a minimum of 200-300rds per firearm type at any given course or personal training session. Please see ammo count in my course descriptions.
What Do I bring to the Range?
Please see "Required Gear" for Details
In addition, for range attire follow these guidelines
- No Low cut Shirts (ladies)
- Closed toed shoes
- Long Sleeve Shirts and Pants, No Skirts, Shorts.
- Ball Cap for deflecting Brass
- Sunscreen
- Hydrate or Die.... Plenty of Fluids 1 gallon recommended
- Snacks
- Foldable Lawn Chair or SunShade depending on the environment

Refund Policy:
Due to limited class capacity and our commitments to clients, students and any supplemental instructors, and hosting range fees, The GunLife Coach does not offer a refund on training or instructional custom courses if you're unable to attend. You may reschedule to a different class date, gift your course to a friend or family member. if you will kindly send an e-mail to evolve@thegunlifecoach.com at least (7) Days in advance of your scheduled course.
Cancellations via phone or in person will not be honored. In case of a cancellation, you will receive credit that can be applied toward any future courses. I strongly urge you to keep your commitment to training & evolve your skills. In this industry it's a pretty known thing, "if you don't feel that you need the training, you probably need the training".
Your registration in a course may be transferred to another if that person meets all prerequisites and is otherwise qualified to take the course, provided you give at least 48 hours notice by e-mail with the contact name, e-mail and phone number for your substitute. We still would urge you to attend your course, I'd rather you run your gun and glean much from the time spent together on the range...
Cancellation by the Coach:
Some courses require a minimum number of students. If you register for a course with a minimum and that number of students have not registered by the end of the day which is 48hrs prior to the course, The GunLife Coach reserves the right to cancel the course and refund your registration fee and or reschedule the course. There may be occasions when an instructor is not available to teach the course and an alternate instructor is not available requiring rescheduling of the course. In such cases, you will receive message, e-mail and or phone notification.
If you're unable to attend the course on the rescheduled date, we will refund your registration fee upon written e-mail request received at least 7 days prior to the rescheduled course date. For the record we run classes rain or shine, hot or cold, unless there's lightning and thunder within 5 miles, so, I'm pretty committed to training in any environment.
Executive Client Program
The Executive Client Program is pretty exclusive and I've had so much success in building many everyday people into real world competent shooters. Due to the nature of this personalized program, I'm extremely flexible on conducting and rescheduling training. However, this is a substantial commitment to your success, and both of our time and effort. I ask that you confirm via call or text the day prior to training which I will initiate. If for some reason, I do not, please contact me to confirm. If there's a no show and no reschedule then the time allotted will count toward your time in program. For the record out of over 200 private clients, only one has failed to communicate properly and declined to train. That's a pretty good retention rate of clientele. Be committed, stay the course and you will reach your goals!!
